I started swinging a tennis racquet at the age of 13 hitting a wall and getting fascinated while watching the major tournaments on TV with my dad and instantly falling in love with the sport! Competed in ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournaments and gained international match experience. I'm Igor, a former tennis player hailing from Uzbekistan. Over the years, I've competed in countless tournaments, refining my skills through decades of dedicated practice. Now, with 30 years of experience under my belt, I've transitioned into teaching tennis, sharing my expertise and love for the game with aspiring players of all ages.

For beginners, I focus on technique, proper grips, and generating topspin. To do this, I focus on hand feeding a lot of balls early on to develop proper technique and to train the muscle memory. Specifically, I teach a semi-western forehand, two-handed backhand, volley fundamentals, split stepping, proper footwork and serve mechanics. I also work with students who have one-handed backhands. I am a big believer in putting in a lot of time on the serve. For more experienced players, I will work with you to either identify areas for improvement or to work on areas you’ve identified you would like to improve.

Hello, my name is Armaan Walia and I have been playing competitive tennis for 12+ years. I coach with the top tennis pros at country clubs which has helped me develop my coaching skills. I play collegiate tennis at St. Lawrence University and play two singles there ending my season with a 8-3 record. During my lessons I focus on developing the player and building habits that will last for a lifetime.
