Since 2021 is a self-employed coach that provides private and group classes for beginner to to high performance tennis players, coordinating junior and adult programs, leading Club social events. His love for racket sports was enriched with a PPR certificate, he is also skillful in racket stringing. Nick will be the new Head Pro at Oakton Swim and Racquet Club and is a USPTA Elite Professional and PTR Level 2 Professional with nearly 20 years teaching experience as a head tennis professional, director of tennis, and varsity tennis coach. Currently, he is Flint Hill’s Assistant Varsity Coach for both boys and girls. He serves on several organizational committees for the USPTA including as the State President of Ohio and the Midwest ELEVATE committee. Nick has received several awards including Lessons.com Top 10 instructor 2020 (Northern Virginia), PTR’s Member of the Year (2013), and was named the Washington Post’s High School Coach of the Year in 2010. He specializes with developing junior tennis players using a progression based format. He believes in developing relationships first. By building positive, trusting relationships, he believes that anyone can learn the game of tennis.
