COACH Oscar is great to work with; he is knowledgeable and encouraging. He starts with an assessment and the fundamentals so that he can meet the client where they are at. We able to cover fielding and hitting in a single session. I highly recommend him.

Coach Oscar was amazing! If you are looking for a softball hitting coach, who can evaluate a softball player and determine exactly what is the issue,then look no further. On our first session, Coach Oscar was able to communicate with my daughter what no other coaches have ever done. His explanations and concrete examples really brought it home. The hitting drills were fun and enjoyable for a 16U player.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will ask what are you working on? Is it hitting, fielding, fundamental drills and so on.
Lesson 11+At this point in time a student should be confident in their ability to perform and see a difference in overall skill level. There will be growth and development.
Lesson 4-10Moderate improvemendepending on experience level and practice time accumulated.
Lesson 2-3Try to improve on weak spots and set a goal to improve each lesson. One step at a time if needed.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAsk what is needed to improve? Then breakdown on how to improve skill. If hitting, I will go over where hitting zone is based on their mechanics and explan on how to approach.
Lesson 11+Maintain and continue to improve batting mechanics with the knowledge of where their specific hitting zone is and learn to make contact consistently and now work on hitting to all parts of the field.
Lesson 4-10Player should be able to make adjustments and improve skills.
Lesson 2-3Practice on hitting with tee work hitting into net and film. Then go over video to point out both good points and bad . That way player sees their flaws and corrections.
What you need to bringStudents need to bring a glove, cleats (rubber or metal) workout attire, baseball/softball pants and water bottle. Bat if you have one and a positive attitude
