My journey in sports education stretches over two decades, thanks to my background as a PE teacher. This unique blend of teaching and passion makes me the coach I am today. Coach Kathy.. where do I start.. she’s absolutely amazing!! We had 10 lessons total, she’s not just you’re friendly neighbor Pickleball coach, she’ll coach you little bit about life too and that’s exactly what I needed. Her drills are challenging but I went into it with an open mind & her examples of what I was doing vs. how it should be was so helpful for me to understand where I was getting things wrong with my shots at the kitchen or at the back (singles or doubles) & I was able to quickly understand the differences of what a good/bad shot is. With her coaching, she taught me how to gain control of each shot which counts in Pickleball. She’s very patient with you & she will cater her lessons to where you can relate to it to breach the gaps e.g positioning, body weight shifts, all things that would make you a better player. If you truly can try & laugh off mistakes you’ll make within the drills which I had plenty with Coach Kathy, then you’ll be able to reap the benefits of her Pickleball wisdom.
