Robert’s expertise and skills at teaching pickleball combined with his infectious love for the game combine to make him an A+++ pickleball instructor and coach. I had never picked up a pickleball paddle … Robert has, and continues to teach me the techniques, strategies and nuances of improving my game, every time I have a lesson. He has a keen eye for seeing the specific areas where I need help and tailoring his teaching to constantly improving in those areas as well as in my overall game. He will often stop play and ask me what I should have done differently to help me pay attention to, understand and improve my level of play. Robert’s focus on drills has improved my skills, is helping to create good muscle memory, and I often think of snippets of his instructions before I play a game to help me continue to use the skills and strategies he teaches. I would highly recommend Robert and the one pickleball instructor you need to improve your game. Robert is often asked by all level of players to help prepare them for an upcoming tournament. Robert’s care for each person he teaches, and his desire for everyone to have fun continue to make learning and pickleball more exciting every lesson!

On a scale from 1 to 5, I would give Robert a 5++. Robert is an excellent teacher because he is an excellent player, is in it to win it with you whether you are new to the sport or highly skilled. He has a talent for assessing your strengths and weaknesses and creates a program toward improvement that is personalized specifically for you. His lessons are fun, creative for your specific needs and full of information. He is very accessible and flexible based on your needs and level of investment. I highly recommend him!

Robert is an incredible coach. His ability to assess your game (strengths and areas for opportunity to improve is amazing). He is able to instruct in a way that you can comprehend and implement quickly for success. Robert’s teaching style is also one that allows you as the player to ‘think’ and ‘strategize’ through situations for leverage. Within one lesson our aptitude and ability increased immensely. Robert has a great personality and is so easy to learn from!!

Robert told me he sees everything...and he really does. He can see how I'm holding my paddle, where my feet are going, and still tell me I took my eyes off the ball. I like it's tailored approach. When I have a difficult new skill to learn he takes his time figuring out the correct way for him to teach it to me because one size does not fit all. He's very easy to get along with and takes his time getting to know each of his students. He's happiest when we excel!
