Ty was very patient with me and my 14-year-old son who are complete beginners. He was good about reading my son‘s responses and meeting him where he’s at as a somewhat insecure teenage boy trying to learn a new skill. 
What you need to bringI have balls and paddles to use. I recommend wearing court shoes and bringing a water bottle.
