Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe’ll start on the beach covering ocean safety, surf etiquette, and wave basics before moving into paddling technique, the pop-up, and proper stance. Once in the water, I’ll push you into small, safe waves so you can get your first wave and build confidence right away.
Lesson 11+At this stage, you’ll be confidently catching waves on your own, so the focus shifts to refining technique and exploring more challenging conditions. We’ll work on generating and maintaining speed, improving flow between maneuvers, and reading the lineup like a seasoned surfer. You’ll start practicing more advanced turns, better wave selection, and adapting to different breaks so you can surf with confidence anywhere.
