The main lesson I took away was how important stance and swing rhythm are, which I hadn’t really considered before. My love for dance ignited in 2015 when I was accepted into the Eastland Fairfield Performing Arts Program in Reynoldsburg, OH, immersing myself in Ballet, Jazz, Ballroom, Tap, and Theatre during my high school years. Furthering my education, I pursued a B.A. in Dance with a Business Cognate at The University of Akron. My passion for dance extended beyond academia as I began teaching Hip Hop and Dance Fitness at local studios, including The Institute and The Recreation Center. Presently, I am a dance instructor at KIPP Academy of Innovation in East LA, and CreateNow. while also focusing on building my presence on social media.
