Brian, an accomplished adult player, has won a Texas sectional Men’s Open level major zone tournament and achieved a 6.0 NTRP rating. He is also a former Texas sectional major zone tournament champion at the 5.0 level and was USPTA certified to teach tennis 1999. Among his many achievements, his favorite memory is playing father-son doubles. As a coach, Brian has guided thousands of students, earning recognition from the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department for his work with junior players. Many of his former students have reached the super champ level, with one winning an NCAA D3 national championship in 2019.
"Generally, I find Brian has a good structure on the court, and he can rally with me for more energy and engagement which keeps things pretty active. Still, I’d like to see us progress towards a full shot regimen during rallies, though. If that improves, I think it’ll help me quite a bit moving forward. Definitely worth trying out if you want a coach who can keep the structure going without losing focus.

"I’d say the lesson with Mayra was quite helpful. She explained the fundamental rules pretty clearly and offered good feedback on my serve, though I still need to work on my positioning. Still, I appreciated her focus on basic strategies, which made me more confident about playing with others. If you're looking to get started or brush up on the fundamentals, you might want to give Mayra a try.

I picked up tennis as a middle schooler, played as a high schooler and enjoyed it competitively into both college (recreational) and during active duty. I continue to play, learn and tutor my children. I also had the honor of coaching elementary and middle school children as a Senior in high school. My desire to coach is in inspiring the next generation in this wonderful sport. Elaborating; my more competitive years were from 1994-1997 where I would compete across the state of Oklahoma in numerous USTA tournaments. Additionally, our high school hosted and participated in weekly matches and tournaments during the fall and spring school semesters. On a personal level, I am a Christian, husband, father, and hobbies are numerous because I’m an adventurous guy (tennis, golf, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, mountain and trail hiking, Astronomy). Professionally, I completed my Master’s Degree in 2016 & recently my PMP Certification (Project Management Professional). Security+ (CE) certified. Additionally, I coached Jr. Flag football (6 seasons), Jr. Volleyball (1 season) & Little League Baseball (2 seasons). My MinistrySafe Background Church sponsored by First Baptist Church of Georgetown (TX) was renewed as of July 2025 which included specific training in Sexual Assault Prevention and Reporting. TMT has a copy of the previous background annual check. During the week of 21-25 July 2025, I volunteered and served as the Small Group Leader for one of the 4th & 5th grades boys and girls (16 children; 2 supporting volunteers). 2025 RECAP: 30 Different Students 173 Lessons of Varying Player Levels Age Groups included: -Young children -Teenagers -Adults
"We practiced a lot of drills and drills I had never done before and we were taught scoring. :-)

With over 15 years of experience in high-level basketball, I am a former Division 1 athlete and professional player turned elite basketball trainer. Born with a passion for the game, I came to the U.S. on a full scholarship to compete at the collegiate level, where i built a solid foundation in both skill and discipline. After graduating, I went on to play professionally around the world — including stints in Georgia, Mexico, Rwanda, and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). Competing internationally allowed me to absorb different basketball styles, cultures, and training methods, all of which shaped my unique approach to player development. Now based in Austin, Texas, M is focused on giving back to the game by training the next generation of athletes. He specializes in building complete players — emphasizing fundamentals, basketball IQ, body conditioning, and mental toughness. Whether it’s a beginner or a high school athlete with college dreams, My mission is to help young players unlock their full potential both on and off the court. Through my new training brand, I am bringing global experience, pro-level intensity, and heart-centered mentorship to kids in Austin.
"Pape's lesson was quite thorough, really covering a lot in just an hour and his positive attitude and encouragement was a great fit for my daughter. We’re looking forward to more lessons.

Over 40 years of playing experience and over 20 years teaching experience! I have played tennis since I was 6 years old and I first learned how to play tennis from my parents at an early age. I then began taking lessons from tennis instructors who had many years of playing experience. They brought a wealth of knowledge to me as a junior, which in turn helped me learn and excel as a junior player. I was one of the top 10 junior players in Texas and also competed in all national tennis tournaments around the country. It was an incredible experience and I very much hope to be able to pass on some of what I’ve learned to some of my tennis students in the San Antonio area!
"Greg’s skill in pinpointing my weaknesses really made a difference, and I appreciated how he focused on improving my game without overdoing it. If you’re looking for a lesson that’s quite helpful and tailored, Greg is worth trying.

"I'm glad to say my recent lesson with Cecil helped me improve my forehand consistency, especially on those wide balls, even though staying low still feels a bit tricky. Though I feel more confident overall, I think I need to focus on faster recovery after hits. Still, it's encouraging to see progress in court coverage and footwork, so I might try to keep building on these areas. If you're looking to sharpen your baseline game, Cecil's approach might be worth trying.

Hi, I'm Coach Henry. Before diving into my background, I want to share my passion for coaching. I am dedicated to helping players refine their game and discover their own love for the sport. As a 4.5 rated Pickleball player with more than a year under my belt, I've built upon my history as a former 5.0 tennis player. I decided to switch to PB for a change of pace and soon made my mark by winning multiple tournaments at the 3.5 level. Our lessons will thoroughly cover both the forehand and backhand techniques, always emphasizing the critical importance of a correct follow-through. Join me, and together we'll ensure you have the skills and confidence to compete with anyone on the court!
"I’d say Henry’s lesson was quite focused and helpful, especially with opportunities for improvement in mind. The emphasis on form and problem areas was pretty clear, and I feel more confident about sharpening those skills. Though I still need to work on a few specifics, it’s encouraging to see steady progress. Still, I might try a couple more lessons to really hone in on those details.

I'm David, and after 30 years of playing 4.5 tennis, I discovered my passion for Pickleball and haven't looked back since. Now, I'm excited to share my expertise as a Certified PPR Coach and help beginners up to 4.0+ DUPR players improve their skills and understanding of this dynamic sport. Despite initial hesitation, I've come to love Pickleball even more than tennis and am eager to guide others in enjoying this game as much as I do. Let's work together and elevate your Pickleball game!
"The lesson with David was quite helpful, especially with his focus on specific techniques that I hadn’t fully grasped before. Though I still have some areas to refine, I left feeling more confident in my paddle control and positioning, which was pretty good. I’d consider signing up for another lesson to keep improving. But, we still have 4 more lessons, I think.
