Iβm Alex Sapalicio, with over 20 years of golf experience and more than a decade of coaching under my belt. I hold the course record of 57 at my home course, Alhambra Golf Course, and have competed in multiple PGA pre-qualifying events. My true passion lies in the game itself and in helping others discover and nurture their own love for golf.
"The lesson with Alex was quite helpful, honestly. His patience in explaining goals and lessons thoroughly made a real difference. Though I need to keep working on my consistency, Iβm optimistic about continuing to improve and see steady progress. Still, itβs encouraging to get that kind of clear guidance. If youβre looking to refine your game gradually, Alex might be worth trying.

With over 30 years of golf experience and 15 years dedicated to teaching, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the game. As a former college-level player on a golf scholarship, and with a current handicap of 1.2, I understand the demands and rewards of competitive play. I work with golfers of all skill levels, focusing on etiquette and rules to ensure players understand the foundational aspects of golf, building a strong base for a solid game, perfecting technique to improve performance, emphasizing critical skills for on-course success in short games and putting, and sharing extensive knowledge of 18-hole play strategies. My teaching approach is rooted in making the game enjoyable while driving improvement. I am committed to helping my students excel in both technique and course navigation, cultivating talent, and instilling a love for golf. Whether weβre honing skills on the range or strategizing for success on the course, I am dedicated to guiding golfers toward their full potential.
"I had my first lesson with Josh today. I was able to spend the lesson working on my short game and chipping. I really got so much of of the lesson with Josh in terms of fixing my swing mechanic and rhythm. Already booking more lessons with Josh.
