I have been a Basketball Coach for over 25 years from the high school to college level. I spent 17 years (2005-2022) as the Head Men's Coach at De Anza College in Northern California. Prior to that I was the Head Assistant Coach at Notre Dame de Namur University (2002-2004) in Belmont, California. I began my coaching career at W.C. Overfelt High School in San Jose (1999-2002). I have coached hundreds of student-athletes from diverse backgrounds. I am experienced and committed.

Beyond basketball, Daniel has held multiple leadership roles, including Student Council President and board member of the African American Consulate during his time at Wasatch Academy.
