Four months ago I didn’t know anything about pickleball and made a dumb bet with some friends who were already good at the game that I can beat them in singles in four months. No not knowing where to start, I decided to look online for a coach around the Conroe area. That’s when I found Scott through this app. In 8 lessons, I was abled to learn the basics, got good at footwork, and understanding how to play offense and defense. Thanks to Scott, I ended up beating 2/3 of my friends in singles this past weekend. They were all surprised how well I picked up the game. If you’re looking to find a coach to help you get started on your pickleball journey or to just better your game then he’s your guy!!!

I had the absolute pleasure to learn many pickleball tips from Scott. From the moment, my friends and I arrived, he was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable on the court. Although I was a beginner, he was very patient and his enthusiasm for the game was unmatched. Scott explained the basics to me very clearly and his tips have definitely improved my skills and confidence. I highly recommend Scott to anyone, whether you’re starting out or just looking to up your game!
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonServing: The serve must be underhand and from the baseline, the back line of the court. The ball must bounce before the receiver returns it.
Scoring: The serving team earns points, and matches are usually played to 11 points. The winning team needs a two-point lead.
Lesson 11+Basic footwork techniques: Proper grip, stance, and footwork are a strong foundation for executing shots effectively and with precision.
Lesson 4-10Backswing: The backswing is the motion where your paddle moves back farther so you can swing forward to hit the ball. A shorter backswing is generally better.
Lesson 2-3Angles and passing shots: Mix up your shots by using different angles, pace, and spin.
Pickleball paddle: Paddles come in different materials and designs, which can affect your playing style. Graphite paddles are lightweight and maneuverable, while composite paddles offer a balance of power and control.

What you need to bringPlease make sure you dress in comfortable athletic attire, and sneakers. Bringing your own paddle is always a plus, that way I can help guide you in how to get the most out of your paddle.
