He continued his basketball journey at Burlington Junior College in Iowa, where his team finished 8th in the NJCAA Nationals during the 1978-1979 season. Roland then played at Santa Clara University from 1979 to 1980, alongside NBA legend Kurt Rambis, before transferring to Western New Mexico University in Silver City for the 1984-1985 season.
"What stood out to me was how Roland focused on teaching the fundamentals and gave helpful advice on how I can support my son’s skill growth at home. The lesson was clear and encouraging, making it easy to follow along. If you want to build a solid basketball foundation, Roland’s lessons are definitely worth trying! 🏀

"Rakshak has been a great help on my basketball journey! He was very attentive to detail and worked with me to achieve my basketball goals of being productive during college basketball intramurals. If you choose Rakshak to be your coach, be ready for a mix of high-level basketball education and a very personalized routine!
